Storyteller – Mary Blance, North Roe
Origin – Traditional
Storyteller Mary Blance is a weel kent voice locally through her association with BBC Radio Shetland. This tale reflects a perhaps slightly lighter side of dealing with trows. A supernatural sneak thief is tracked to his lair by an intrepid resident of Skerries who feels disinclined to share his supper with his trow neighbours.
