Traditional Shetland Songs CD artwork
Saa You My Maggie is known from the singing of the late Jamsie Laurenson from Aithbank, Fetlar. This version is sung by Elizabeth Morewood and Alan Slater. Elizabeth Morewood felt people were forgetting about the older traditional Shetland songs and that prompted her to gather what she could find from a variety of sources. The result is a CD Traditional Shetland Songs which she recorded in Unst with Dave Sinton.
