Words and music of the sea

Two recent concerts, in Busta House and the Shetland Museum Boat Hall, brought oboe player Katy MacKintosh of the RSNO back to Shetland, together with her father, pianist Graeme MacKintosh, to perform with Margaret Scollay and Maurice Henderson. The programme, on Sept. 14 and 15, featured Spöndrift, music newly-composed by Margaret, Katy and Graeme to celebrate the sea, blending with Shetland poems and prose read by Christian Tait, Laureen Johnson and James Sinclair.
