Stella Sutherland
b. 1924, lives in Bressay. Published: Aa my Selves (1980), A Celebration and other poems (1991), which won the Shetland Literary prize, and Joy o creation (2008, Hansel Cooperative Press). Poems have also appeared in the New Shetlander and Shetland Life, in other publications in this country, and in Sweden, where five of Stella’s poems featured in Håkon Anderson’s Landskapets lycka: Vandringar och poesi i brittiska landskap (2005).
