Robert Sim
b. 1957. Robert was brought up in Argyll and has worked as an English teacher and an education officer in Shetland since 1983. He has written poetry in English which has been published in various publications, including the New Shetlander. He has also been involved for a number of years with Islesburgh Drama Group and his first script, the one-act play Tangle Bells, was written for the Group to perform at the 2010 Shetland Drama Festival, where it won a number of awards. It was also his first attempt at writing in Shetland dialect.
