Icelandic translations

Shetland poetry translated into Icelandic

Icelandic writer and poet Aðalsteinn Ásberg Sigurðsson recently translated a collection of poems by Shetland writers into Icelandic. Published by Dimma, the book, entitled Hjaltlandsljóð, features 68 poems in their original form, with parallel Icelandic translations. Many of the poems are in Shetland dialect.
